Rates and Insurance

Insurance:

Though I’m not contracted or “in-network” with any insurance company, if your health insurance policy includes “out-of-network” benefits, you’ll likely be able to receive some level of reimbursement for mental health services obtained out-of-network. If you intend to seek reimbursement for out-of-pocket payments, I will provide you with the appropriate receipts (i.e., “superbills”) to submit with your claims.

Fee Schedule:

  • Initial diagnostic evaluation/consultation (60 minutes): $225

  • Psychotherapy session (50 minutes): $150

  • Evaluative, consultative, and training services are provided at different rates, available upon request.

Financial Policies:

Payment: Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered and may be made remotely via Cash App, a mobile payment service. Instructions for using this app will be provided prior to your initial appointment. I do not accept direct credit or debit card payment at this time. However, Cash App provides the option to link a bank account, credit card, or debit card.

Insurance Claims: Because I’m an “out-of-network” provider, I do not file claims with or “accept assignment” (direct payment) from insurance companies. However, I’m happy to provide you with the documentation necessary for you to seek reimbursement at any frequency you wish (e.g., each session, monthly, quarterly, etc.)

Insurance Deductibles: If your insurance plan has a deductible which you haven't yet met, your documented out-of-pocket payments will be "credited" toward that deductible when you file claims with your insurance company.

Cancellation Policy: Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and, without sufficient notice of your cancellation, is a "lost hour" that cannot be made available to another patient. You will be charged the full fee for any scheduled appointment which is not cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice, regardless of reason, unless I'm able to fill your slot. Hence, even if you miss the 24-hour window, it’s to your advantage to let me know as soon as possible so that I can offer your slot to someone from my cancellation waitlist.
